Wesley C. Dalton

Judge Wesley Clay Dalton, of Wright City, MO., passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 16, 2018.

Wes was born on October 10, 1958 in St. Charles, MO., to Donald Eugene and Gloria Carlene (nee: King) Dalton. He had reached the age of 60 years 2 months and 6 days.  

Wes was married to Robyn Marie Lewis on March 5, 2010 in Warrenton.  They spent 8 wonderful years together.  Wes and Robyn were very active in their church, Faith Christian Family Church where they served as the Dream Team Coordinators. Judge Dalton was the Presiding Circuit Judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit, comprised of Warren, Montgomery and Audrain County and was set to retire from the position later this month.   Wes enjoyed playing golf and playing the harmonica.  He was a coach for many different teams over the years and recently had enjoyed being the voice of the Wright City Wildcats, "Wildcat Wes". He was an avid scuba diver, bike rider and snow skier.  Wes was very involved in Boy Scouts of America for many years.  He was also an Eagle Scout and was a scout leader. 

Wes was preceded in death by his mother; Gloria Carlene Dalton, who passed away in December of 2008, one nephew; Chad Lewis and other aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his loving wife; Robyn, his children; Nicole Dalton, Taylor Dalton, Michael Dalton and wife Emily, Ariel Eversmeyer and husband Jon, Allison Gray, Rilee Scheer, Madison Scheer, Mitchell Scheer, his father, Donald Eugene Dalton, Sr. and wife Therese, his siblings; Donald Gene Dalton, Jr., Linda Ellison, Paul Dalton, Stacey Dalton, Lisa Suter, two grandchildren; Avery and Harper, nieces; Robin Gustafson and husband Brandon, Karen Green and husband Christian, Mariah Arguelles and husband Javie, many other relatives and friends. 

A visitation for Judge Wesley C. Dalton will be held on Thursday December 20, 2018, from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Faith Christian Family Church in Warrenton.  At 1:30 PM a public, Circuit Award of Excellence and a Supreme Court Recognition Award will be presented to the family for his many years of service.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday December 21, 2018, at 10:30 AM also at the church.
