      August 09, 2022 New Melle Country Market is hosting the 2nd Annual New Melle Music Festival on September 10, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Last year the Festival had over 1000 visitors, and a bigger crowd is expected this year. The music will play in two sessions from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then 2 to 6 p.m. and will feature Chris Lozano and the Coyote Band.

      St. Paul’s Lutheran in New Melle held the second annual St. Paul’s Kidz Carnival on July 16, it was a hot day; fortunately, there was shade, a breeze and a misting station to stay cool.
      The Kidz Carnival was free; the only request was for donations to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.

Anna was born on April 12,1932 to Joseph B. and Anna T. Eynch (Brockmeyer) in St. Louis, MO and reached the age of 88 years.

She was the only child but had many cousins who were like her siblings. At age 6, her family moved to a farm, south of Foristell where she lived until 2012. She resided at her new home at Twin Oaks Senior Living until her death. 

Anna met her husband, Charles H. Hallemeier, through some friends and love began. They were married on October 4, 1952 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Until Charles died in 2001. They were blessed with two children, Charles Joseph (Bud) and Jo-Ann Marie. 

Anna attended St. Patrick's grade school in Wentzville, MO and graduated from Assumption High School in O'Fallon, MO. She worked as a dental assistant for several years prior to being a clerk and then as postmaster for sixteen years at the Foristell, MO post office, She loved seeing and helping people every day. She enjoyed gardening, her animals, bowling, softball, and loved her St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all she loved her family, she prayed for them and everyone daily.

Surviving: her daughter, Jo-Ann Marie (David L.) Creech; daughter-in-law, Denise R. (Harris) Hallemeier; Grandchildren, Melynda S. Brannan, Benjamin D. Creech, Juliana M. (J. Tyler) Finley, Joseph V. Hallemeier. Great-grandchildren; Paige Finley, Andrew Finley, Olin Brannan, Madison Brannan.

She was preceded in death by her parent, husband and son. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Hallemeier family request that all attendees wear masks.

Visitation: Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, 3-8 p.m., and Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 8-9:30 a.m, Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, MO 63385. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, 10 a.m., St. Patrick Church, Wentzville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Masses or St. Vincent DePaul at St. Patrick Church in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385
